I made Valentines again this year - botanical themed ones. Aren't they pretty?! I've been drawn to green and white so that's what I went with, even though it may not be strictly on theme. I love gardening and there's something beautiful about the forms of plants so I thought it was appropriate.
Originally I envisioned dark green cards with white fern leaves on them, but I couldn't find a green cardstock that I liked. So, I went with white cards and green stamps. The stamps were ordered from Etsy and came in a set of two. The stamp pad was something I already had. Once I made the stamps I heat embossed them using clear embossing powder. It gives the design a little bit of raised relief and makes it shiny which intensifies the color a little.
